Security & Access
Security and access systems for Malaysian facilities
EVOLTS designs and installs the low-voltage systems that protect a building — CCTV surveillance, access control, parking and barrier systems, intrusion detection and the structured cabling that carries all of it. Because we also deliver the site’s power and solar infrastructure, these systems are specified as part of one coordinated electrical design rather than retrofitted around it.
Our security services
CCTV surveillance
IP camera systems with colour low-light capability, wide-area coverage, motion-triggered deterrence and remote monitoring.
Access control
Touchless and card-based access for office buildings, factories and residential developments, with time-attendance integration.
Parking access
Barrier gates, RFID and UHF readers, and licence-plate recognition with event logging.
Intrusion detection
Perimeter and internal intrusion alarm systems, monitored and integrated with surveillance.
Structured cabling
The network backbone underneath everything else — designed, installed, tested and certified.
For data centres and larger industrial facilities, security and access are one layer of a four-part infrastructure package alongside generation, storage and power continuity. See how we scope that.
Questions about security systems
Can security systems be installed at the same time as solar?
Yes, and doing both under one scope is usually cheaper and cleaner. Cable routes, containment, earthing and power supplies are shared, and a single contractor is accountable for how the systems interact rather than blaming each other later.
Does CCTV still work at night?
Modern IP cameras with colour low-light sensors produce usable colour footage in near-darkness rather than the grainy monochrome older systems gave. Where deterrence matters, motion-triggered illumination can be added so intruders know they have been seen.
What security does a factory actually need?
Typically perimeter surveillance, controlled access at personnel and vehicle entry points, and monitored intrusion detection — plus the structured cabling to carry it. The specification should follow your risk and insurance requirements, not a product catalogue.
Do you maintain the systems you install?
Yes. Surveillance and access systems degrade quietly — a camera fails, a reader drifts, storage fills — and nobody notices until footage is needed. Scheduled maintenance and health checks are part of what we offer rather than an afterthought.
